Chapter 42 Night Talk
Outside the cave entrance on this side, Sen and Yu stood together, battling the raging, cold wind. The gale howled like a raging torrent, relentlessly lashing their bodies, making them feel the chill gradually seeping into their very bones.
The climate on the Orcish continent is unpredictable; it's already late autumn, but winter could arrive at any moment.
Sen stared at Yu beside him and noticed that he seemed to be lost in thought, looking somewhat absent-minded.
Finally, unable to contain his curiosity, Sen asked softly, "Yu, what exactly are you thinking about?"
Yu slowly shook her head, replying with a hint of worry in her voice, "Nothing special. I'm just a little worried about the coming winter. After all, our food reserves are quite limited, and such harsh weather will undoubtedly be a huge test for those young and weak orc children. Now, there's that delicate little female in addition. She's so frail; I really don't know how she'll get through this difficult season."
Hearing Yu's words, Sen also felt a surge of sorrow.

Then, Zhi decided to follow the goddess with me.” Sen’s eyes were filled with awe.
Upon hearing this, Yu's doubts gradually dissipated.
“In that case, we must protect the goddess,” Yu said firmly.
Sen nodded in agreement.
"But what should we do? If the goddess's identity is exposed, it might attract competition from other tribes," Yu said worriedly.
After thinking for a moment, Sen proposed a plan.
"We'll keep the goddess's identity a secret for now, and strengthen the valley's defenses. We'll make further plans once the goddess has adapted to life here."
Yu thought it was a good idea, and the two decided to take action immediately.
Hunting was the first priority.
They need to stockpile enough food to get through the winter, as well as animal hides; all sorts of furry animal hides should be collected.
