After taking a long bath and washing myself thoroughly, letting go of all the sweat produced by today's intense heat, I walked out of the bathroom feeling refreshed. I quickly dressed in something simple, a white summer dress and some white sandals to go with it.

Anything more and it would only make me feel hotter, honestly. I walked out of my room once I had dried my hair, and I felt it looked all nice and silky. And then I felt something...

"Hm?"

There was something I felt down there, in my belly... It wasn't a stomachache. And it wasn't "physical" either. But something spiritual I felt.

Was that the baby somehow?

It felt like a little light that lit up very brightly for a moment, before going back to how it was before.

I don't really get it but... maybe it was my child's soul.

Kaguya did say my child wasn't going to be quite human... It was going to be something much different, mostly because I've already become something different myself.

And Mark too, he isn't quite human either anymore.

So whatever our child becomes, it'll be something... between the two of us? I don't really know, but it will probably be half-spirit or something.

Maybe also with tree powers, or maybe it'll be a tree itself?

Hm, hard to say for now.

But that tingle of power I felt was definitely spiritual power, and very strong one at that.

My baby will be superpowered from the start, it might be hard to deal with.

How are we going to raise them so they can both control their powers and not use them for bad things?!

"Are you alright?"

I heard Mark's voice behind me, he was in the front yard garden planting some spirit seeds he had created, he said he wanted to make his own garden with special fire elemental plants.

"Oh? A-Ah! Yes I'm fine dear."

I did feel a bit dizzy myself, but it quickly faded away. I wanted to do something to pass the time that wasn't just fighting though.

"You look a bit stressed, come on, let's go relax. We went through a lot yesterday, so you need to rest."

"Hmm, I suppose you could help me plant and water some seeds over there. Okay let me bring the shovel."

"I can use mine as well!"

"Nah, don't worry, I want you to relax and just do light work. You're pregnant after all, so I would prefer if you didn't do too much exercise."

"Aw, well, if you insist! At least let me summon my little friends."

I quickly spread my Aura, as dozens of Farm Spirits emerged, carrying tiny shovels and bags of seeds already pre-made.

Mark looked at them with bright eyes, he was quite amazed despite seeing this for a while now.

"We've been doing this for a while now, why at surprised?"

"I'm honestly always surprised when we do this in real life... I mean, in our world I guess? It just feels so much more magical somewhat."

"Hmm... I guess you're right..."

We quickly got moving with Mark, as he lent me to the ground he had plowed, it looked a bit lacking in nutrients though, his plowing ability wasn't the best.

Unlike me, he wasn't a farmer, so he didn't have any soul-bound skills related to farming to improve this IRL.

"Ah, that look... I knew it, the land is not nutritious for the plants?" He wondered, feeling a bit embarrassed. "I really did my best, but I guess I can't compare to a farmer's eye, huh?"

"Heheh, it looks great for a first timer!" I giggled. "But let your future wifey solve this~!"

I quickly knelt on the ground and touched the dirt with my hands and bare soles.

I needed the most direct contact; the Druids had taught me that.
