After adding Sylvia’s contact information and thanking the director once again, Qiao Sang confirmed that her cameo payment would be processed through the finance department in two days. Then, she rode the now-enlarged Yabao and left the Theo Film Base.

Watching the girl disappear into the sky, Sylvia asked, "Director, you seem quite interested in these pet beasts from Blue Star. Why not discuss with Qiao Sang about having her pet beasts act in more films?"

The director didn’t answer directly but instead asked, "You’re not actually familiar with her, are you?"

Sylvia hesitated for a moment before replying honestly, "I posted a mission at the Beast Taming Center. She took on my mission to come here. Today is actually the first time we’ve met."

"The reward for your mission was dream projection?" The director chuckled.

Feeling a bit embarrassed, Sylvia admitted, "My Dream-Hunting Beast's dream projection is only at the advanced level, but she needed a third-person perspective dream projection, so..."

"So you brought her to me." The director finished her sentence.

Sylvia, unafraid of the biggest boss in the crew, grinned, "Well, I knew you were kind and would definitely help out."

The director accepted the flattery with a clear conscience.

"A foreign exchange student from another planet, already having three pet beasts at her age, with two of them even wearing miniaturization rings... Someone like that couldn’t possibly be interested in acting. She agreed to let her Ghost-type pet beast cameo today only because I hadn’t helped her yet. She was worried that if she refused, I might go back on my word."

Staring at the now-empty sky, the director suddenly answered the original question, "Asking her would just be a waste of time."

Sylvia was momentarily stunned.

"You mean... all three of those pet beasts belong to her?"

"What else?" The director glanced at her.

"You wouldn’t be naive enough to think they belong to her family members, would you?"

They were just chatting, how did this turn into a personal attack?

But the director was always sharp when it came to judging people. If this was true, a child with such natural talent as a beast tamer would indeed have no interest in acting.

After all, who would become an actor if they had the potential to be a professional beast tamer... Sylvia suddenly felt a bit melancholic.

The director was a little surprised at the sudden topic change.

Thinking for a moment, he replied, "I think so. She even threw a party to celebrate. She didn’t invite you?"

"She did, but I was busy at the time." Sylvia replied indifferently.

"I just wanted to know what kind of pet beast she contracted so I could pick a suitable gift for her."

"I wouldn’t know about that." The director said, checking the time on his phone before turning to leave.

"You can ask her yourself. I need to get back to filming."

With that, he walked away.

Sylvia glanced out of the corner of her eye at the figure still eavesdropping nearby, then acted as if she hadn't noticed anything and returned to her trailer.

"Xun xun..."

A Swift Moth fluttered out leisurely.

That human definitely noticed me on purpose and started talking...

Humans are so troublesome.

Back then, she used to feed me those energy pills that Dream-Hunting Beasts liked. I didn't even enjoy the taste, but when I refused, she assumed I was just being shy and insisted I eat them. It almost made me sick.
