Chapter 135: No More Singles

The morning sunlight filtered in through the gaps in the curtains. Li Yunting and Zheng Wancheng finished washing up and went downstairs hand in hand.

When they arrived at the restaurant, they found that they were the only two there. Their son Li Yunxuan was still sleeping soundly, and Gu Nancheng had obviously not gotten up yet.

The two smiled at each other and finished their breakfast quietly. It was still early, so Li Yunting pulled Zheng Wancheng to the sofa and the two began to get close to each other.

Zheng Wancheng leaned in Li Yunting's arms, a happy smile on her face. Li Yunting gently stroked her hair and whispered in her ear from time to time, causing Zheng Wancheng to chuckle.

Just as they were immersed in this sweet atmosphere, footsteps were heard upstairs, and then Gu Nancheng came downstairs sleepily.

Li Yunting shrugged, looked at Gu Nancheng innocently and said, "You can't blame us for this. It's you who got up late."

Gu Nancheng shook his head helplessly, and muttered as he walked towards the restaurant: "Really, what sin have I committed? I have to eat dog food so early in the morning."

Li Yunting and Zheng Wancheng looked at Gu Nancheng's back and smiled even more happily.

Seeing Gu Nancheng wolfing down his breakfast, Li Yunting and Zheng Wancheng looked at each other, smiled and said to Gu Nancheng: "Nancheng, remember to wake Yunxuan up to eat later, and then send him to school."

Gu Nancheng still had food in his mouth and replied vaguely, "I know, I know."

Zheng Wancheng gave a few more instructions with concern, while Li Yunting patted Gu Nancheng on the shoulder, and then they both stood up and prepared to go out to work. They adjusted their clothes at the door, and each other's eyes were full of love and attachment.

"Then let's go." Zheng Wancheng waved his hand.

"Okay, see you tonight." Gu Nancheng said while eating.

The two walked out of the house together, the sunlight shining on them, casting long shadows.

At home, after Gu Nancheng finished eating, he sighed helplessly and said to himself: "Alas, these two guys only know how to order me around, but Yunxuan, the little guy, does need to be taken care of."

He stretched, then walked upstairs to wake Li Yunxuan up.

Gu Nancheng walked up the stairs slowly, came to the door of Li Yunxuan's room, knocked gently, and then pushed the door open.

The little guy was still sleeping soundly on the bed. Gu Nancheng walked to the bedside, stretched out his hand and gently shook Li Yunxuan, and said softly: "Yunxuan, get up, the sun is shining on your butt."

Li Yunxuan rubbed his sleepy eyes and asked dazedly, "Dad Gu, where is Mom?"

Gu Nancheng smiled and replied, "Your parents have gone to work, hurry up and get up, lazy bum."

Li Yunxuan finally sobered up a little, slowly got up, and started to get dressed and wash up.

"Dad Gu, do you know? Xiao Ming from our class fell down on the playground yesterday. It was so funny!" Li Yunxuan said with his hands and feet dancing.

Gu Nancheng smiled as he drove, "Haha, did he cry?"

"No, he is very strong. He got up, patted his butt and continued playing!" Li Yunxuan's eyes sparkled.

"And, we had art class today, and I drew a super beautiful picture. The teacher even praised me!" Li Yunxuan said proudly.

"Wow, Yunxuan is so amazing, what are you drawing?" Gu Nancheng asked with interest.

"What I drew is our family, including Mom and Dad, as well as Dad Gu and Dad Qin!" Li Yunxuan said happily.

"Haha, that must look great. Yunxuan is really a little painter." Gu Nancheng praised.

"What about your father Fan?" Gu Nancheng asked curiously.

Li Yunxuan answered as if recalling the past: "I seldom see Father Fan, and he doesn't play with me that often, that's all!"

Gu Nancheng thought about it and it made sense. Fan Zongying was a little far away from them. As a gaming master, he often went into closed training and was not often seen.

Li Yunxuan became more and more excited as he spoke, and started talking about playing games with his friends. The vivid description made Gu Nancheng feel as if he were there and felt the children's happiness.

Just like that, as Li Yunxuan chattered away, the car soon arrived at the school gate.
