Chapter 50 Drunk
Chapter 50 Drunk
Scenes from her arrival on the Orcish Continent flashed rapidly through Linni's mind. She hadn't actually suffered much, but compared to her life in her original world—Linni's eyes immediately welled up with tears. She took a big gulp of wine, choked on it, and coughed twice.
Yao quickly put down his wine glass and gently patted her back: "No rush, drink slowly."
His gentleness overwhelmed Lin Ni, who put down her cup and threw herself into his arms, crying out in Mandarin, "Yao, remember how we got here! I miss home! I miss my mom and dad so much! Waaah—"
Her sudden outburst of emotion surprised all the beastmen present. They looked up at her, wanting to comfort her, but they couldn't understand what she was saying.
Yao put his arm around her and gently stroked her back, softly comforting her, "Okay."
"Help me find a way home! Please help me!" Linni looked up at him and pleaded, "I really miss home!"
Yao tenderly lowered his head to kiss away the tears in her eyes: "Okay, let's find a way home together."
Lin Ni looked up and kissed his lips, a passionate kiss. After a while, Yao tasted the saltiness of her tears, pushed her away and saw her face covered in tears. He reached out to wipe them away with heartache: "It's okay, don't cry."
Lin Ni pushed his hand away and kissed him again. Her passion made Yao a little flustered. He wanted to push her away but couldn't bear to. If he didn't, five pairs of eyes were watching with wide eyes.
Actually, in the orc world, such public displays of affection are not considered outrageous, and it's even more normal between partners. Feng and Yan, standing to the side, held their breath and watched them. Lin is so passionate! They wanted it too.
Ye swallowed hard. He also wanted Lin Ni to treat him like that, but looking at Lin Ni who was hugging Yao's face and kissing her passionately, Ye said to Yao, "You carry Lin into the cave. It's not hot in the cave anymore."
Yao glanced at him and nodded. He first pulled Lin Ni over and made her straddle him, then lifted her up by her hips. He turned his head to look at the road, but Lin Ni chased after his lips, wanting to kiss him. The two kissed as they entered the cave.
Bai Shu carried the animal skin inside and spread it on the ground for them. Yao looked up at him and said with restraint, "Go and guard outside."
As soon as Bai Shu turned around, Yao immediately switched from defense to offense.
The two clung to each other passionately.
"Yao, I want you, I want you!"
"Xiao Ni, Xiao Ni! I like you so much, so much, so much!"
You said you love me!
"Xiao Ni, I love you! I love you so much!"
"Yao, I love you too!"
The three men in front of the stone house exchanged glances, quickly finished their food in their wooden bowls, and then began to work under the night's arrangement. From inside the cave came Lin Ni's moans, high and low, and the voices of two men talking. They spoke in a language the men couldn't understand, but they knew it was love talk—words spoken in moments of passion.
When Lin Ni's drunkenness wore off, she felt it was very dark. She rubbed her head and slowly remembered the absurd things she had done that afternoon: Was this something a shy little girl like me would do?
Yao's gentle voice came from beside her: "Xiao Ni, are you awake?"
"Hmm." Linni felt a little pain in her throat, making it difficult to speak.
"Let's get up, the bonfire party is about to start."
Lin Ni got up and dressed with Yao's help. The two of them held hands and left the cave. After walking out of the stone house, they found that it was dusk outside. Bai Shu and Bai Ji were waiting at the door, Ye was making clothes for herself, but Feng and Yan were not there.
When Ye Jianlin came out, he looked up at her and said, "I just boiled some water, have some. Your new clothes are still a little short, wear them to the bonfire party when they're finished."
Linni smiled and nodded: "Okay. Thank you, Night!"
Seeing her hoarse voice, Ye turned her head and said, "Don't drink so much next time."
Lin Ni blushed as she drank half a cup of hot water, feeling much better. She said to Yao, "There's a hot spring in the back; I'd like to take a bath there."
Yao glanced at Ye, who nodded: "It's not far from here, there's no danger. Go quickly and come back quickly."
"Okay." Yao picked up Lin Ni and strode towards the back mountain.
Linni and Yao enjoyed a relaxing hot spring bath. Although they shared some tender moments, it was short-lived, and they went back home afterward. Linni dried her hair and put on a new mid-length off-white fur coat that Ye had made for her. He had even sewn five pearl buttons onto it with off-white pearls. Linni loved it so much that she told Ye that making another one that reached her calves would be enough for her.
Bai Shu and Bai Ji didn't go to the bonfire party, so they stayed to look after the house. In the afternoon, Ye and the others had tidied everything up, cleared away all the leftover stones and wood, and made the whole house clean and tidy. The area outside was spacious and comfortable. Lin Ni gave Ye a big kiss: "My Ye is so capable!"
They can hunt, build houses, make clothes, and tidy up – who wouldn't love them!
Ye kissed Lin Ni back for a while, then picked her up and slid down the mountain in his lower body, which transformed into a snake tail. Lin Ni looked back at Yao and saw him carrying his water cup, striding behind her without seeming to be struggling, so she felt relieved.
It was already dark. The autumn mountain wind brought a chill to their faces. Linni tidied her disheveled hair, hoping the wind would dry it faster. Looking down from the mountainside, they could see that the plaza was already bustling with people. Torches burned around the plaza, making it very lively. Except for a large area in front of the Tiger Gate that was empty, the rest of the plaza was filled with orcs. They sat in circles of about twenty people, roasting several large prey, surrounded by various fruits and beautiful flowers.
As soon as Lin Ni and the others entered the square, Yan came to greet them: "Lin, you've arrived!"
Ye put Lin Ni down and followed Yan towards the crowd. Yan led them to a campfire near Humen and sat down. They saw Feng already waiting there, surrounded by several females talking to him. Among them were two young women who had just come of age and did not have mate marks on their arms. Feng had been quietly listening to the women, nodding or shaking his head occasionally. When he saw Lin Ni and the others arrive, he stood up and smiled at them, saying, "Lin, come and sit here."
Two or three women cast scrutinizing or hostile glances at Lin. Feng said in a somewhat cold voice to the women who were talking to him, "This is Lin, who has just joined our tribe, and her partner. She is also choosing a new partner."
Whether it was because of his words or his attitude, the women obediently made way for Linni and her group.
