Destroying My Own World

Chapter 346 Tough decision.

Chapter 346 Tough decision.

"Where do you want me to put the body?" Javelin looked at Mykel who was smoking his cigarette and leaning against the pillar in the hotel's basement.

"Anywhere is fine," Mykel dropped the cigarette and put it out with his loafer.

Javelin opened a spatial magic and dropped Nefarath's dead body right in front of Mykel. The body was preserved and her pierced chest looked so fresh that it appeared like she had just died a second ago.

Mykel stared at Nefarath's face and then he put his hand into her chest, pulling out her life essence. As soon as the orb was retrieved, Nefarath's body turned to ashes and was blown away by the exhaust.

"We wouldn't be able to kill her if it wasn't because of that Mysterious woman..." Javelin mentioned as she closed the spatial magic. "Also, she said something that quite unnerving," she pointed out.

Mykel put the life essence in his pocket and then walked past Javelin, ignoring her words. It made Javelin pissed, but at the same time, she didn't want to cross the line that she made between her and him.

"Be prepared for the twenty-first rift here in Dystrovia. It should appear by now, and maybe your question will be answered if you meet with that mysterious woman again," Mykel said before he entered the elevator. Continue your saga on My Virtual Library Empire

"What do you know?" Javelin asked with her eyebrows furrowed.

"Do I look like someone who cares about that?" Mykel asked back without showing any expression and then the elevator door closed in front of him.

Javelin stood there and then shook her head, realizing how stupid she was to ask that question to Mykel. She then left and went back to her place to rest because she was still unwell and exhausted from the raid.

The night came and it was as Mykel said, the twenty-first rift that appeared on the border between the Verdentia Republic and Dystrovia nation. It was unexpected and became quite a controversy because the Verdentia Republic didn't want to do another raid. They believed it was the Dystrovia nation's responsibility to clear it, and they also mentioned the Faelethria Kingdom with sarcasm to ask for their help.

The heat between Dystrovia nation and Verdentia Republic worsened after they turned a blind eye to each other's reasons to hate each other. The Verdentian hated them because of how easy it was for the Dystrovian to fall for Elestria's scheme. The Dystrovians hated them because the Verdentians had no idea how bad the situation was in their nation and the fact that no Verdentian came to help them.

Not all were agreeing with the dispute and still believed everything was a misunderstanding. But the hatred had blinded those who fell for the scheme and believed the other side was in the wrong. The issue spread into how weak the Dystrovia nation was and how arrogant the Verdentia Republic was.@@@@

Finally, Elestria spoke up and broadcast about the current situation between the two nations. She made her reasoning for not helping Verdentia Republic sound like a lie while she made her reason for helping Dystrovia nation a genuine concern for its people. The Faelethria Kingdom became a coin where one hated it and the other loved it. Verdentian didn't believe a single word she said Dystrovian believed every word she said.

"Let them be. If a breakout did happen, we could protect your nation and deal with the monster in an instant while they were drenched in their blood," Victoria said loudly so those people could hear her words. "I would love to see them scream in pain and die from blood loss as we smile at them," she added.

"This world is too peaceful anyway! Unlike the Isola Key Island where blood was spilled every day. I can't for a world war so they can experience what we experienced!" Sophia said with excitement.

Their words didn't put those people in fear, it only fueled their hatred toward Elestria who used criminals as her weapon. A person who used criminals as their weapons would be counted as a criminal as well, and that person was Elestria. Their hatred became so blatant that it would get them killed if Elestria heard it herself.

Javelin's phone rang and it was Zachary who called her. She already knew what he was going to say, and when she picked up the phone, it was as she expected. She only hummed before she hung up the phone and told Victoria that the Verdentia Republic had decided not to help.

Without wasting any more time, they entered the rift with little information they got. The demon that awaited in the rift was called Nymphea, The Red. They didn't know anything about the demon other than the name and the title.

"This place looks like a proper place, or should I say world," Sabel looked at the paved road and the night sky with a bit of chill wind.

"The smell of roses is quite soothing as well," Sophia sniffed the strong and yet gentle smell of roses in the air. "Are there any roses around?" she asked.

"A whole field of them," Victoria looked at the field filled with roses at the bottom of each hill. "I don't feel any weird atmosphere in here," she pointed out.

They were feeling the same as Victoria and there was no feeling of wariness, anxiety, or discomfort. They were feeling at peace and not to mention there wasn't a single monster around no matter how far they had walked the road.

After hours of walking a peaceful road with roses that feasted their eyes, they saw a city, an old city like in a medieval world. A wall and a gate prevented them from seeing the city and the murmuring of people talking.

They were suspicious at first until Duncan opened the gate where humans lived normally like a normal day in a city. They were shocked, and what made them more shocked was that everyone in the city was either beautiful or handsome. The ideal types of men and women existed there and there were plenty of them.

"Look at that woman. She's so fucking sexy..." Duncan looked at the beautiful tall woman with big breasts and long legs.

"What the hell is this place..." Javelin squinted her eyes in disbelief.

"You just answered your question," Mykel responded as he walked past Javelin. "This place is filled with damned soul," he pointed out.
