Chapter 156 Creation.
Chapter 156 Creation.
Mykel, Amaryllis, and Hera teleported to the Void Realm to check what had happened to Elena. When they arrived, they were exposed to a bright light that blinded them and it felt so hot that it burned their skins. Hera couldn't handle the heat and her face and body melted immediately, but Amaryllis immediately protected her with a barrier.
Amaryllis' barrier cracked and couldn't hold it even for a few seconds, and knew she had no choice but to put in a stronger barrier, and multiply it by hundreds. Mykel was fine, and he felt refreshed when he was exposed to life energy.
They were dumbfounded when they saw dimensional cracks everywhere inside the Void Realm, and the darkness had turned into light because of her life energy. They couldn't see the end of her life energy as it spread out through the whole universe. They were shocked and petrified when every planet and star disappeared from space.
Elena was up high and she kept releasing her life energy as if it was infinite and it kept replenishing itself. They were curious as to how she could do that, and they realized that she was in a zen state where she was neither awake nor asleep.
"Can you handle it?" Mykel asked Amaryllis who kept adding more and more barriers around her and Hera.
"I'll manage," Amaryllis answered as she nodded her head. "This power of her, it's ten times more than her original power, and it seems that she's still growing even further," Amaryllis added.
"I see. I guess we shouldn't bother her and just let her be," Mykel said as he looked at the empty space. "I'll stay here and try to absorb her life energy before it devours the whole universe," Mykel added as he removed his suit and tie.
Amaryllis nodded in agreement and then left with Hera to protect the Empyrean World from crumbling because of Elena. Mykel stayed and let himself become a vessel for the life energy that Elena released.
Thousands of worlds where sextillion people lived could see the skies tearing apart. They were praying to Gods to protect them, but it was already too late as Elena's life energy took the world and their lives. It was a painless death, and it was peaceful rather than terrifying because it was warm and made them all feel at peace. Continue your journey on empire
Mykel started to feel the heat inside his body even though he let his [Supremacy] skill active. His power couldn't keep up with the amount he accumulated from absorbing Elena's life energy. He could endure it and could take as many as he had to since he couldn't feel pain, but then Elena started to release life energy excessively so that even herself started to twitch because it started to affect her.
Mykel flew up to wake Elena up because she started to lose control over her power. When he came, Elena's eyes were glowing gold and her eyes were like what happened to the space, covered in her life energy. He grabbed her shoulders, but his hands started to burn and melt, but his regeneration prevented his hands from melting further.
"Since when your blood is like that?" Elena asked and grabbed Mykel's wrist to look at the blood.
"It will change again soon. It's the process of me becoming a true God," Mykel answered. "Can I have a moment with Elena? I have something that I want to talk with her privately," Mykel asked as he looked at Hera.
Hera smiled and nodded her head and then left the room to give both of them privacy. Elena looked at Mykel and she was a bit anxious, and she thought that it had something to do with her power.
"Elena," Mykel grabbed Elena's hands and looked her in the eyes. "I don't know what will happen to me in the future with this power inside me, but if something happens and I'm no longer myself, do me a favor," Mykel said with a serious expression.
Elena shook her head repeatedly as she stared back at Mykel because she already knew what he was going to say.
"I'm not going to kill you. I'll find a way to bring you back just like how I came to Earth to meet you again," Elena said as she held Mykel's hands so tightly. "If you don't exist, and nobody should exist," Elena added and her eyes started to glow gold again.
Mykel looked at the walls and the floor slowly disintegrated by something invisible. He had no idea what was going on, but then he glanced at Elena who kept staring at him with her golden eyes.
"Your power. What kind of power did you get?" Mykel asked as he looked at Elena with curiosity.
"Every creation has a beginning, and it's either something beautiful, terrifying, powerful, good, bad, or anything else. Anything that exists has a purpose, but they're bound to the one that created them," Elena answered as she looked down and watched the floor disintegrate. "I don't want you to be bound by the one who created you, and then I realized that before creation, there's only nothingness," Elena added.
"Your power is to reverse creation?" Mykel asked with his eyebrows raised.
"Yes, Nihility," Elena answered as she nodded her head. "I will erase every existence that tries to harm you," Elena said with a serious expression.
