Chapter 471 Rising Blade Tide

Erix, Rin, and others climbed the stairs and soon arrived on the 2nd floor.

What faced them was a five-meter-tall doll-like woman wearing a dark yellow frock with black glowing embroidery patterns, her head tilted to the side and her eyes closed.

She held a red trident with black patterns in her hand.

"Sleeping?" Erix raised an eyebrow before pointing his palm at the doll-like woman. "Let's wake her up."

A black energy orb with purple waves and dark silver sparks shot towards her.

But it stopped and exploded before touching her.

Her head straightened, and her eyes glowed before pupils appeared in them which were not there before.

In the next second, her Trident glowed before everyone's expression changed.

Above them in the dark swamp-like ceiling made of energy, dark yellow crystal shards rained on them.

'Get your attacks ready,' Erix immediately said in spiritual chat to prevent anyone from using defensive skills against this attack.

The others also understood and didn't do anything. Everyone disappeared from their spots in the next instant and appeared behind the doll-like woman with Erix's teleport.

However, the ground below them suddenly turned dark yellow and muddy with Plague Karata's attack.

Everyone was startled and immediately used their powers to escape, scattering away at different spots.

"I'll take her on solo," Rin said as she took out her Raibor Power Slime in Katana form and also activated her Regalon Drive transformation as a cool red and black sleek armor covered her figure, with a helmet with horns.

A sword also appeared in her other hand.

Her stats shot up, reaching around 80k.

The others quietly went to the corners of this huge hall while Rin began her battle with Plague Karata.

Rin's speed was the same as Plague Karata despite having lower stats, and she dashed around like a lightning bolt while clashing against the enemy.

Rising Blade Tide's elemental prowess was Chronace Element, with each blade connected to the other for a single purpose.

To pass the Chaotic Flow to each other, thus increasing the power of the blades.

The Rising Blade Tide's front area was darker and more potent precisely because of that.

Out of the five Synergized skills Rin had, this one consumed most of her energies because it was a foundational skill for her skill set, allowing her to execute the next skill almost free of cost.

After executing this skill, she would be able to produce other skills from it.

As Plague Karata's attacks shot toward Rin, her Rising Blade Tide met her Plague Spear attacks head-on.

Chronace Element's most powerful aspects were handled by Aethir's attributes for pure offense.

Chaos Concept's effects bring out even further offense from those blades with Rin's design.

The Blade concept's effects automatically activate on every blade due to it being an Action concept.

Speed concept increases the attack and various effects based on the speed of all blades whose speed was manipulated, which Rin could do easily with her Chronace Flow.

The blades at the tip of Rising Blade Tide utterly destroyed the spears before they continued and devoured Plague Karata entirely.

However, when those spears were destroyed, Rin suddenly felt pain throughout her body while dark yellow spots appeared all over her, damaging her constantly.

'What the fuck?'

The others were startled as well, but didn't intervene immediately because Rin's Rising Blade Tide had also devoured Plague Karata.

*Screeeee!*

A terrible scream echoed as thousands of potent Blades that had Rin's most powerful aspects geared for the pure offense devoured Plague Karata.

A powerful explosion rang inside as she tried to break free, but Rin's grin only widened as she executed her second Synergized skill.

'Semi-ultimate move should be able to finish her off since she isn't able to break free from the tide.'

Suddenly, half of the blades at the end of the stream of Blades of Rising Tide intensely glowed and melted into each other before transforming into a single huge blade that penetrated Plague Karata.

'Chaos Sword: Burst Impact.'

*Boom!*

[You have killed the first commander: Plague Karata.]

"Alright, that was easy," Erix said with a laugh.

"Well, it is just the first Commander. We still have to kill more," Lilith smiled and looked at the stairs that appeared. "Let's go. The time is limited."

Everyone flew towards the stairs as Sameira said, "True. They didn't tell us how many commanders are there, but we have a time limit on us."

"Let's kill other Commanders swiftly by working together," Isabella nodded.

As they arrived on the second floor, what greeted them was not a hall like they expected, but a dark forest with dark blue and dark purple wisps floating around.

And then a voice echoed, entering everyone's ears.

"Words are but whispers in the howling winds of fate. Actions, however, echo through eternity. If you are to traverse the shadows that cloak my domain, you must first prove your worthiness."

In the next second, everyone felt danger bells ringing before their shadows released dangerous dark purple claws with dark blue patterns, intending to tear them apart in the next instant.
