Chapter 277: Thank You for Courting Death, Patron Point

"Haha, wonderful dance!"

At one of the higher spots in the mountain, groups of people sat at different tables while enjoying the dance performed by six girls with white wings and combat dress.

Their dance was powerful, and their music was epic with multiple instruments sounding from the back, displaying a tale of their battles through their dance and invoking flames of battle and determination within the people watching.

The previous dance and music was cheerful and jolly, but this one was entirely a new thing by a new group.

Erix, Rin, Lilith, Lily, and Maleina sat at a table as well, eating top-quality food and drinking exotic wine.

"The ladies there are beautiful, haha. How about show us a dance?"

Erix and the group had worn a mask on their faces, and it was not uncommon as many people didn't want their faces to be seen in public.

Rin and Erix had their face spread a lot due to mirage crystals, so they didn't want to be disturbed while enjoying their break.

However, that voice calling them beautiful obviously couldn't see their face. The eager tone with a hint of lust in that voice immediately made Erix and others frown.

Shooting a glance in the voice's direction, everyone saw a man looking in his late twenties with long light green hair sitting with a bunch of beastfolk girls while a woman and a man clad in full-body armor stood behind him.

"Come on, I'm sure you all know a move or two," the man said, unhinged. With a laugh, he raised his wine glass and said after licking his lips, "If not here, then you can dance privately for me."

"Sir, please don't create unneces-"

The manager was a peak Royal-order and quickly arrived there.

Seeing the aura of two Empyrean-order hunters standing behind him, the manager knew this was a young master-type asshole who hadn't learned his lesson yet.

Lilith raised her eyebrows, her voice spiritually entering the group's head, 'New to Abyss or naturally born here in a big organization or community? Looks like a human with a mixed bloodline of some beastfolk since he has vertical pupil eyes.'

'How do we fry him?' Rin asked, straight to the point.

'Let me have a talk,' Erix vanished from his spot, exchanging his place with a beastfolk girl looking in her late teens.

Erix appeared across the man who spoke while that beastfolk girl appeared in his seat.

The two Empyrean-order guards only glanced at Erix and kept their eyes on him.

"I also want some entertainment, but before that, how about you apologize sincerely for your error?" Erix said, a grin spreading on his face while his eyes were covered due to the half-mask.

"If you don't want to fix your error, I'll debug you myself."

"Hahahaha, you want me to apologize? Stop dreaming.:

"I am Leoron, and nobody knows me here since I, unfortunately, died in my world," the man said as he raised his glass while openly groping the beastfolk girl with goat ears and horns that was on his lap.

Her expression was blank, and it was obvious that she was a slave due to the slave mark.

"As you can see, my father told two subordinates to die to accompany me in the Abyss," Leoron grinned. "I plan to have full fun before returning once I reach Empyrean-order, and you want me to apogloize? Hahaha."

"Oh wait, you are just a Noble-order ant, hahaha"

Leoron tilted his head, showing his cheek towards Erix, "Come, attack me if you dare."

"Pff..." Rin almost spat the wine she just sipped upon hearing that and burst out laughing.

Leoron frowned hearing her laughter that clearly hinted great contempt at him.

"You bi-"

However, before he could finish speaking, a mysterious cut appeared on his throat, glinting with dark hazy purple and silver sparks.

Immediately after that, his arms and legs detached as the space around their joints was devoured by Nihilir.

The dark hazy purple flame with silver sparks immediately and instantly incinerated his limbs, not even leaving any ash.

"Stop at once!"

The man shouted and pointed his sword at Lilith, "If not, we will kill this woman!"

The dark pink-haired woman also pointed an arrow at Lilith.

They knew they could only hurt Lilith, who was an Empyrean-order like them, so they only targeted her.

"Not bad. We have a new weapon for Rin and some interesting items," Lilith appeared back on her seat while those two Empyrean-order fell with a thud beside Leoron. Completely drenched into dark red blood, yet their bodies were husks--Deader than death.

"It seems that they are fairly big in the world they came from," Lilith chuckled. "At least they have powerful figures out of Mystic Root's influence, and we got some good resources from those two."

Erix laughed and snapped his finger, causing two Nihilir Wisps to form.

"Thank you for courting death," Erix said before sending those Nihilir Wisps into Leoron's eyes.

His spiritual screams tried to enter Erix's mind, but he blocked the receiving from Leoron as he wasn't interested.

Leoron's face burned and his entire body burned brightly with Nihilir before it all vanished, including everything he wore...except for the hunter card that Erix specifically saved.

"I guess this one should also have some good items then."

Meanhile, Leoron's soul left Abyss, and his death immediately notified his powerful fathe due to the Bloodline connection and soul lamp indication.

It was a two-thousand-kilometer giant castle, and the planet was also highly advanced in technology driven by both magic and science.

The moment Leoron died, a roar echoed in the castle while several flyings ships entering outer space from the castle shook due to the shockwaves that spread high up.

"Father, your grandson died! My son! Grab his soul wisp before it goes into the Cycle!"

A giant pair of eyes manifested above the castle before it peered into the path to Grand Primal Cosmos's Cycle and found Leoron's soul.

An ethereal and mystical hand stretched forward, intending to grab the soul.

However, the hand suddenly stopped a meter away from the soul, preventing it from proceeding further.

'Who?!'

Instantly after asking that, the mystical pair of eyes heard a voice forcefully penetrating into his consciousness.

But that voice infused primal fear in him, his eyes showing terror.

'Corrupted and unworthy soul, you shall acquire demise of absolute, path to eternal darkness, and contribute to the worthy.'

'This is my law. This is my absolute. My will is everything to my fair judgment. No one shall bend it. No one can break it.'

The monotone and archaic voice finished before Leoron's soul wisp turned black and vanished.

"Eh?"

Seeing Erix's surprised face and voice, Rin asked, "What happened?"

"I got something like 1 Patron point," Erix confusedly said, "Is it related to that statue?"

Suddenly, he saw a panel popping up in his mind.
