Chapter 15 School starts

The day has finally come for me to register for school.

Ning Jian and Gu Ai specially arranged for their driver to bring a minivan so that their whole family could go see Ning Yi off. Apart from the seats for the few of them, the other seats and the trunk were filled with Ning Yi's things.

After driving for more than an hour, we finally arrived at Nanjing University.

We got stuck in traffic for a while while we were still on the road, and the area near the school was already packed with people.

Looking at the people outside, Ning's mother said with some worry, "Oh dear, with so many people, how are we going to move all this stuff inside?"

Ning Anyuan was speechless. Now he knew.

After the driver parked the car, they decided in the car to take some of the items to their dormitory and return the rest to their apartment later.

I asked the dorm aunt for the password to my room. Their dorm building has an elevator, so thankfully I don't have to climb stairs.

Her dormitory was on the third floor, and they took the elevator upstairs.

Ning Yi found the dormitory number and went inside, only to find that there was already a girl in the room.

The dorm rooms here are all for four people, and the rooms are quite large.

An Xiaonuo happily said to Ning Yi, "Hello, are you my roommate? My name is An Xiaonuo."

Then Gu Ai walked up to her very warmly: "Little girl, you're here so early!"

An Xiaonuo was a little reserved, and nodded as she stood to the side: "My home isn't far from Nanzhou, and I arrived a little early."

Ning Yi stepped forward and introduced An Xiaonuo: "These are my parents, and this is my brother."

A girl with big wavy hair and sunglasses walked in, carrying a designer bag. The person behind her looked to be her father.

An Xiaonuo politely replied, "Hello, my name is An Xiaonuo, and this is Ning Yi."

Ning nodded in greeting, then turned to Gu Ai and the others and said, "Mom and Dad, brother, you can go outside and wait for me. It's almost all tidied up here, otherwise there won't be enough room for everyone."

They nodded and prepared to leave.

Ning Anyuan said to Ning Yi, "We'll wait for you downstairs. We'll be waiting for you to eat in a bit."

Ning Yi nodded obediently: "Okay."

When Ning Anyuan passed by Qiao Na, she couldn't help but take a second look.

"Is this your brother?" Jona raised an eyebrow and looked at Ning Yi.

Ning Yi nodded: "He is my brother."

Jona smiled and said, "He's quite handsome."

Ning Yi didn't expect Qiao Na to be so direct, and smiled awkwardly.

Because An Xiaonuo was the first to finish packing, she helped Ning Yi, and then Ning Yi finished packing and joined in to help Qiao Na.

It's clear that Jona has a very doting father. While helping her pack, her father was constantly worried about her, afraid that she wouldn't be comfortable staying there. He even said that if she felt uncomfortable, she could call him anytime and he would send someone to pick her up immediately.

However, they didn't mention Jona's mother in their conversation.

Jona nodded casually, then said, "Then my dad and I will go eat first, bye."

Ning Yi and An Xiaonuo waved to them, and then Qiao Na disappeared into the dormitory.

“One of my roommates hasn’t arrived yet,” An Xiaonuo said.

“Yes, I’m going to have dinner with my parents too,” Ning Yi said, then hesitated for a moment before continuing.

"Do you want to come with us? After all, it's still a bit unfamiliar here."

An Xiaonuo felt a little embarrassed and quickly waved her hand, "No need, no need, you should go quickly, your aunt and uncle will be waiting for a long time."

Ning Yi kindly continued, "From now on, we'll be roommates, so don't be shy. They have great personalities, so don't worry."

An Xiaonuo politely declined.

Ning Yi didn't say anything more and just looked at An Xiaonuo.

Then Ning Yi also left the dormitory.

They had lunch nearby, and then took Ningyi to buy some daily necessities. Gu Ai said she would go to the apartment later to help tidy up Ningyi's things. After taking Ningyi back to the dormitory building, everyone said goodbye to her with reluctance.

Having spent so much time with everyone, it's hard to adjust to living alone all of a sudden, and I feel a bit empty inside.

Ning Yi carried her things back to her dormitory.

They discovered that only An Xiaonuo and another girl they didn't recognize were in the dormitory.
